Waterson & Knight new album in September

04 Jul 2012

Following last year’s debut ‘The Days That Shaped Me’, Marry Waterson & Oliver Knight have readied a second album for release in September.

Markedly distinct from the very personal themes of the debut, the new album, ‘Hidden’, has many vivid characters and stories inhabiting its 11 songs. “I realized pretty early on that I was writing about many different characters” says Marry, “all with similar traits - concealment, deception and avoidance.”

‘Hidden’ is also more musically diverse than it’s predecessor with forays into ragtime, music hall and even ska as well as the more traditional folk styles that one might associate with the pair.

‘Hidden’ is released on September 24th and will be preceded by the single ‘Going Going Gone’ on September 17th.
