Woodentops frontman Rolo McGinty explains his eagerness to “fuse hi energy old school rock and roll with futuristic block beat”, with the resulting mix “sounding like an apocalyptic carnival… pounding industrial hammering before the gradual reintroduction of chopped, frantic, danceable rhythms”.

Split across 3 CDs in a fold out sleeve, ‘Before During After’ marks the definitive Woodentops retrospective. CDs 1 & 2 feature their two albums ‘Giant’ and ‘Wooden Foot Cops on the Highway’ re-mastered from the original tapes as well as rare, unreleased material whille CD3 collates alternate and remixed versions. The package also includes Rolo’s new commentary to accompany the track lists.

Before During After is released on May 27th.
Pre-order from the OLI store.

The Woodentops will be playing a single UK live date on June 23rd at London’s Dingwalls.
