Recorded with producer Mark Neill (Black Keys) in Valdosta, Georgia the album mixes the bands love of rock and roll, soul and the energy of punk rock. From the frenetic (under 2 and a half minutes) rockabilly tinged ‘Uh Oh, Uh Oh’ chorus and twang-tastic guitars on opening track ‘Bring Me The Head Of A Hipster’, the soul-pop and twinkling keyboards on ‘Nothing To Say’; the thunderous drums and Jerry Lee Lewis-esque piano on ‘Selina Chinese’ to the heartbreak lament of ‘CRUEL’, the album showcases the Exeter group’s riotus yet tuneful and infectious music.
