Stubborn Heart to play Latitude Festival

12 Jul 2013

Stubborn Heart have been booked to play Latitude Festival on Friday 19 July. Handpicked by Radio 1 DJ, Huw Stephens, the band hits the Lake Stage at 5:50 alongside a stellar lineup which includes Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Valerie June and Veronica Falls.

Already recipients of Rough Trade and Mixmag ‘Album Of The Month’, the band have had strong club reactions and scooped the ‘Album Of The Year’ gong at the Gilles Peterson Worldwide Awards (January 19th), beating off stiff competition from the likes of Frank Ocean, The Invisible and Bobby Womack to take the top spot.

Stubborn Heart’s effortless future electronic soul has struck a note with fans and critics alike, drawing comparison with artists like Talk Talk, The XX, Radiohead and SBTRKT.
