Ásgeir: ‘Song Of The Week’ on Google Play

Ásgeir’s debut English language single ‘King and Cross’ is Google Play’s ‘Song Of The Week’ which means you can get it for free from here.

At just 21 years of age Icelandic singer-songwriter Ásgeir has become a sensation in his domestic music scene - staggeringly, almost 10% of the Icelandic population now own his debut album ‘Dyrd í dauðathogn’ – the English version, translated by John Grant, will be released worldwide on January17th 2014 as ‘In The Silence’. The Icelandic version has now gone triple platinum in Iceland and won Ásgeir 4 Icelandic Music Awards and a nomination for the Nordic Music Prize earlier this year.
