One of Britainâs finest songwriters, Kathrynâs music has always challenged the distinctions between folk and pop, but with songs as strong as âMonday Morningâ and âHeart Shaped Stoneâ waiting in the wings, âCrown Electricâ has the potential to catapult Kathryn into a much bigger league. Produced by Neill McColl and mixed by David Wrench, âCrown Electricâ, was largely recorded at Bryn Derwen Studios in Wales with sumptuous strings added at Ray Davies legendary Konk Studios in North London. It boasts some stunning collaborations with Ed Harcourt (âDarkness Lightâ, âMorning Twilightâ, âSequinsâ) and James Yorkston (âArwenâ).
