Kathryn Williams’ new single ‘Monday Morning’ is now available on iTunes! ‘Monday Morning’ is taken from the album ‘Crown Electric’, and includes a live recorded version from her Union Chapel show in London last November, as well as an acoustic cover of Springsteen’s ‘Dancing in the Dark’. One of Britain’s finest songwriters, Kathryn’s music has always challenged the distinctions between folk and pop, but with songs as strong as ‘Monday Morning’ and ‘Heart Shaped Stone’ waiting in the wings, ‘Crown Electric’ has the potential to catapult Kathryn into a much bigger league. Produced by Neill McColl and mixed by David Wrench, ‘Crown Electric’, was largely recorded at Bryn Derwen Studios in Wales with sumptuous strings added at Ray Davies legendary Konk Studios in North London. It boasts some stunning collaborations with Ed Harcourt (‘Darkness Light’, ‘Morning Twilight’, ‘Sequins’) and James Yorkston (‘Arwen’).
