Kathryn Williams and Asobi Seksu exclusive releases for RSD 2017

23 Mar 2017

We are excited to reveal two limited edition One Little Indian releases available next month to celebrate Record Store Day’s 10th anniversary! Both releases will be making their way exclusively into independent record shops across the UK on Saturday 22nd April.

Firstly, we are repressing Kathryn Williams’ album ‘Little Black Numbers’ for the first time since 2000. This album has been entirely remastered for Record Store Day, and will be available on black heavyweight vinyl with a download card included.

Secondly, Asobi Seksu’s album ‘Citrus’ will be available for the first time since its release in 2009, repressed on black heavyweight DMM vinyl with a download card included.

Record Store Day is a celebration of independent record stores. It is the one day of the year when over 200 independent record shops all across the UK come together to celebrate their unique culture. Hundreds of labels and artists celebrate the day by releasing special vinyl products that are exclusive to the participating stores. Many shops and cities also host events and performances to mark the occasion. Although there’s only one Record Store Day a year, they also work throughout the year to celebrate our independent record stores by spotlighting exclusive releases, events and special news. BBC Music are Record Store Day’s official media partner.

The full list of participating stores can be found here.
