‘In The Silence’ is released in the USA & New B-side ‘Dreaming’

Ásgeir’s debut English language album, In The Silence, has now been released in the USA and is available to purchase on iTunes here. In The Silence was translated by John Grant and reached the Top 40 in the UK.

Along with the release of the album, ‘Dreaming’ which is the B-side to Ásgeir’s forthcoming single ‘Going Home’, is now live on Soundcloud. Going Home will be released on April 7th and is taken from Ásgeir’s In The Silence. You can listen to Dreaming below:

In The Silence is the English language version of Ásgeir’s original ‘Dyrd í dauðathogn’ debut which made him a folk hero back home in his native Iceland winning him 4 Icelandic Music Awards and a nomination for the Nordic Music Prize. It is now Iceland’s best selling debut album of all time by a domestic artist with 10% of the population owning the album.
