God Damn Kick Off Summer Tour

09 Jun 2015

After having just supported the Foo Fighters at Manchester’s Old Trafford, God Damn are gearing up for a run of festival appearances and support slots throughout the summer. They will be kicking things off in style this weekend at Download Festival, following up with two dates back to back supporting The Marmozets in Brighton and Oxford at the end of the month. The duo have also announced that they will be playing both Reading and Leeds festivals along with a string of European festival dates.

This all comes after God Damn release their debut album ‘Vultures’. The title track of their album, “‘Vultures’ is both blatant and subliminal in its attacks, two fingers up and a twisted journey,” states guitarist and vocalist Thom Edward by way of explaining the tracks psychotic and schizophrenic moods. Pounding in with the ferocity and heaviness of a sledgehammer to the cranium, it quickly pulls back into a moody, swaggering stagger that takes the listener down before lifting them up again and removing the top of their head. It’s a heavy journey. Tread carefully.
