Disco Inferno -  The 5 EPs US release

17 Oct 2011

The re-release of ‘The 5 EPs’ from one of the most ambitious and isolated bands of the 90s, Disco Inferno, has recently sent a wave of revival into the heads of music, single ‘Can’t See Through It’ has recently been featured at the beginning of MGMT’s Late Night Tales mix. DI’s influence is also acknowledged in the likes of Third Eye Foundation, Deerhunter, Animal Collective, Black Dice, The Avalanches, Battles, and No Age. “Still sounds timeless and fresh” opine The Wire in their new issue, alongside Mojo saluting the album as “an unimpeachably brilliant treasure”. Well worth the listen and now released in the US, available to buy here.
