Dan Sartain Creates New Music Video with Fashion Company Free People

20 Aug 2014

Dan Sartain worked with fashion company Free People to create a music video! The result is a tour in the backwoods of Birmingham, Alabama, Dan’s hometown, as he performs his song ‘Marfa Lights’ from his latest record ‘DUDESBLOOD’ while accompanied by some dreamy FP ladies. Check out the video and the blog’s article here.

‘Marfa Lights’ is taken from Dan’s latest album ‘DUDESBLOOD’, available on CD, 12’ Vinyl and download from the One Little Indian Store and iTunes. Across its 10 songs Dan careers between the paranormal John Ford C&W of ‘Marfa Lights’ to UK anarcho-punk (‘Smash The Tesco’) and a truly inspired take on The Knife’s ‘Pass This On’ – which also happens to be the album’s lead single. DUDESBLOOD also features drums and marimba tracks by the venerable DJ Don Bonebrake, best known as an original member and drummer for punk rock band X, of which he is still an active member and also includes bvs from Misty Miller.
