Cody ChesnuTT first full album in a decade, ‘Landing On A Hundred’ is out today!
Universally acclaimed for his Shortlist Prize nominated 2002 debut, The Headphone Masterpiece, not to mention The Roots retooled version of The Seed, Cody ChesnuTT is a soul troubadour whose frank, socially conscious ruminations continue to set the bar for what modern soul music can look and sound like.
A full-blown tower of soul and driving brass stabs in the Mayfield/ Gaye tradition, Landing On A Hundred sketches out a man’s road to redemption after years of womanizing and crack addiction, and the power and labour of slow-burning marital love that eclipses mere material expressions of affection.

Also, after an electrifying performance at Maida Vale for 6Music the BBC will welcome back Cody to feature on Later…Live With Jools Holland on Tuesday 30th October. He will be joined by, amongst others, The Killers, Battle Born and Poliça.
