Brand new HK119 track out now!

18 Oct 2012

HK119, has made a brand new song entitled ‘Adailson’ available as a free download.

Adailson is a beautifully haunting song inspired by HK119, aka Heidi Kilpelainen’s, chance meeting with a shaman whom she came across while trekking in a remote part of Brazil. Spending hours listening to him sing his songs and recite his poetry Heidi asked his permission to record them, which he granted. When she returned home, she incorporated these recordings into one of her new songs and named it Adailson in honour of, and in gratitude to him. The healing experience she went through with him had a deeply profound and positive impact on Heidi and was the inspiration for the forthcoming ‘Imaginature’ album concept.

HK119 is a multimedia artist incorporating performance, dance, art, stage design, video and music into her work. Heidi’s third album ‘Imaginature’, produced by Christoffer Berg (The Knife/Fever Ray, Little Dragon) is due for release in the spring of 2013.
