Fufanu release EP ‘Adjust to the light’
The wait is over, Fufanu’s EP ‘Adjust To The Light’ is out today and available for you to purchase on 12” Vinyl, CD or Digital Download.
After a stream of London shows this past week, culminating in an enthralling show at Hyde Parks British Summer Time playing alongside Blur, the band celebrate with the release of their highly anticipated EP.
Molten opener Will We Last - full of clangorous, metallic guitars and syncopated bass - fizzes with non-specific dread (“I’ve been deaf in the mornings/ Since a late night in June”) and prefaces three more tracks of circumspect post-punk and glassy existential contemplation. The mood is pulled into softer focus by The Hours pulsing synth lines, before the stark isolation of City Lights draws a curtain over proceedings. By comparison, it is perhaps Blinking’s attitude of playfulness that most straightforwardly reflects the wit, boldness and confidence of the band right now.
The band is now gearing up to play at a number of festivals over the summer including Pohoda Festival in July and Iceland Airwaves in November, along with adding the finishing touches to their debut album, which will follow in the not so distant future!
