An American post hardcore and alternative rock band from San Diego, Drive Like Jehu were formed in 1990 by rhythm guitarist/vocalist Rick Froberg and lead guitarist John Reis after their previous band Pitchfork disbanded. The line up was completed by Mike Kennedy and Mark Trombino and they released their self-titled debut album in 1991. They signed to Interscope soon after and released their second album ‘Yank Crime’ in 1994, gaining themselves a cult following. They split up shortly after and Trombino went on to be a successful record producer whilst Reis continued with Rocket From The Crypt. He and Froberg later reunited in the band Hot Snakes.
