Quiet release-wise since the last Pernice Brothers album in 2010, Joe Pernice announces not one, but two (and quite possibly three) new recording projects. First up is a collaboration with Teenage Fanclub’s Norman Blake. The New Mendicants (also featuring Mike Belisky of The Sadies on drums)
Wonderful news: Andrew Thomas Huang’s explosive video to ‘Mutual Core’ has won the People’s Choice Webby award for Best Online Film/Video: Music! Winners in other categories include Jerry Seinfeld and Grimes.
We can think of no better way to celebrate than to bask in the glory that is the video.
