Björk Nominated for Best Female Video

The two Björk-videos up for nomination are Declare Independence (directed by Michel Gondry) and Wanderlust (directed by Encyclopedia Pictura).
Icelandic Concert
We are pleased to announce an outdoor concert featuring Björk, Sigur Rós, Ólöf Arnalds and special foreign guests. The concert will take place in Reykjavík, Iceland, on the June 28th. The exact location will be disclosed later on.
The goal of the concert is to raise awareness on environmental issues in Iceland, as Björk explains in conversation with Jóhann Bjarni Kolbeinsson:

"Neither me or Sigur Rós look at ourselves as experts on nature, or as politicians, but we do travel a lot and we believe we know a lot about what image Iceland has abroad, and that we are far behind when it comes to being" Says Björk when asked how the concert came to be. "I spent for example 2 months in South-America and there you saw the poor doing recycling. We can't be 30 years behind, we need to work together on this and preferably we should be leading the way."
"Too often battles being fought for nature turn into something negative and into mudslinging. We will not go that way, we are not saying that this and that is forbidden, we are rather asking "what about all these other possibilites?". The 21st century is not going to be another oil century but rather a century where we need to recycle, think green and design both power plants and our surroundings in harmony with nature."
Björk - Sheffield Concert - New Date
Bjork has confirmed that the cancelled Sheffield concert is now going to take place on 2nd July.
Tickets from the cancelled show are valid for the new show. People who cannot make the rescheduled date will be refunded from the point of purchase.
The only tickets that will become available will be the limited ones that are refunded, as the show was sold out.

Bjork - Innocence Video Winner!
Congratulations to Fred&Annabelle who made the winning video to Innocence.
It caught Björk for being close to the music and emotion of the song.

Taken from her new album ‘Volta’, ‘Innocence’ is written and produced by Björk, along with Timbaland and Danja. Meanwhile, the single sleeve also comes with another stunning Nick Knight shot of Björk in the statue especially designed by Bernhard Willhelm for the cover art of ‘Volta’.
Björk has also commissioned several brand new mixes of ‘Innocence’ by Simian Mobile Disco, Carsten Nicolai and Ghostigital.
‘Volta’ is Björk's sixth studio album and follows the release of ‘Medúlla’ in 2004.
Featuring ten new and original tracks, ‘Volta’ is written and produced by Björk, with two tracks co-produced with Timbaland and one with Mark Bell.
Björk has just headlined the Coachella and Glastonbury festivals to spectacular effect and undertaken a full scale US tour to considerable acclaim.
